The FBI: Gabi Patito's partner admitted to murdering her
Investigators said a notebook found next to Brian Lowry's body confirmed the main line of inquiry into the affair.
He beat and strangled her during a beach-to-beach trip they did last summer, tricking people into thinking she was still alive when he texted her.

Gabi Patito's partner admitted to murdering her in a notebook that was discovered next to his body in a swamp in Florida, the FBI announced yesterday (Friday).
It was the first time authorities had determined that Brian Lowry was guilty of her death, even though he was the main suspect throughout.
Investigators said 23-year-old Lundry sent text messages to trick people into thinking 22-year-old Petito was still alive after hitting and strangling her in late August.
Michael Schneider, the FBI's agent in charge in Denver, said no other suspects in the affair were identified besides him.
