With the aim of changing its historical and cultural features, the Israeli occupation escalated its plans to Judaize the Al-Buraq Wall, the western wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the context of implementing its Judaizing colonial plans that target occupied Jerusalem, as it tries to empty it of its people by demolishing their homes or forcing them to evacuate them for the benefit of settlers.

In its report issued today on its website, the National Office for the Defense of Land and Resistance of Settlements clarified that the occupation authorities announced a plan to open entrances and exits at the Al-Buraq Wall that are intended for settlers only, and prevent Palestinians from passing through it, with the aim of increasing the number of settlers during their daily incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The report pointed out that the occupation is trying to change the historical and legal reality that exists, not only in Al-Aqsa, but throughout occupied Jerusalem, with its continuous attacks on its landmarks and on Islamic and Christian holy sites, the most recent of which was handing over a notice to demolish a mosque in the town of Beit Safafa, southeast of the city.

The report indicated that these attacks coincide with a campaign of forced displacement launched by the occupation against Palestinians in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa, and in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, which is located on the eastern side of the Old City of Jerusalem. Salem's family's house is in it and built a fence around it in flagrant violation of international law and a clear disregard for the call of the United Nations envoy to the Middle East (Tor Wencesland) to abide by the rules of international law and to stop the displacement of Palestinians and not to evict them from their homes.

The report indicated that the occupation forces forced two Jerusalemite families to demolish their homes in the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood and the town of Beit Hanina, and handed eviction notices to three shops in the town of Jabal Mukaber and demolished a house in Shuafat camp in Jerusalem.

The report stated that the occupation continues to demolish Palestinian homes and harass them throughout the West Bank, as it demolished a house in the town of Ramadin, south of Hebron, and an agricultural facility in the town of Haris in Salfit, and handed a demolition notice to a commercial facility in the town of Hawara in Nablus and a school in the town of Kafr Malik in Ramallah. On 5 dunums planted with olives in the town of Kafr ad-Dik, in Salfit, large areas planted with wheat and vegetables were bulldozed in Khirbet Ibziq in the northern Jordan Valley.

The report stated that the settlers continue their attacks on the cities and towns of the West Bank under the protection of the occupation forces, as they stormed several neighborhoods in Jerusalem and Hebron, and the villages of Qaryut and Burqa in Nablus, and attacked Palestinians and their property, uprooting 300 olive plantations from the lands of Deir Sharaf town, west of the city, and 30 olive plants from the lands of Masafer Yatta in Hebron They cut down 90 olive trees in the town of Yasuf and seized 4 dunums of Palestinian lands in the town of Kafr ad-Dik in Salfit. They also closed major intersections in the West Bank and attacked the Palestinians and prevented them from passing.
