The Presidency of the Council of Ministers has asked the Ministries of Local Administration and Environment and Oil and Mineral Resources to work on ensuring that the percentage of mazut allocated for heating during the next ten days is not less than 50 percent of the mazut quantities allocated to each governorate.
The presidency of the Council indicated in a communiqué that SANA received a copy of it, that this procedure comes after the Cabinet’s letter, which stipulates giving priority to allocating the available diesel fuel to the heating department during the mentioned period.
The Presidency of the Council also requested the Ministry of Electricity to take appropriate measures to allocate the largest possible amount of electrical energy available for domestic consumption during the next ten days. .
The Presidency of the Council of Ministers explained that coordination is taking place with the concerned ministers, governors, members of the fuel committees in the governorates and whoever is needed to ensure the proper implementation of this.
