According to the district office, more than 8,000 people from the district were vaccinated in the last week.
The district office also reported that 82,019 booster or third-party vaccinations have already been carried out, which results in a comparatively high third-party vaccination rate of 52.9 percent (%).
For comparison, 45.6% in Bavaria and 47.1% in Germany are boosted.
But the first and second vaccinations are still in demand. In the Dachau district, 115,114 citizens have now been vaccinated for the first time (as of January 17). This results in a vaccination rate of 74.3% for the district of Dachau. The child vaccinations that are now possible are also taken into account. For the district, the Dachau district office has so far reported around 1,700 vaccinations for children aged five to eleven years. This corresponds to an age-specific vaccination rate of around 15%. Second vaccinations are also increasing. A total of 113,664 citizens have already received the second dose of vaccination, but the so-called full protection is only given after two weeks. The second vaccination rate also rose slightly and is currently 73.4% and thus still well above the rate in Bavaria (71.6%) and just above the rate in Germany (72.7%).
The vaccination teams are still on the road in the district.
Citizens can receive all corona vaccinations (first, second and third vaccinations) there and also from the resident doctors.
There are still numerous vaccination appointments available in all facilities in the coming weeks.
The drive-in vaccination route in Karlsfeld is exclusively available to the residents of the district at certain times.

Due to the significantly lower demand for vaccination, there will be no further special vaccination campaigns in the communities for the time being.
