Occupied Jerusalem-SANA
Dozens of Palestinians, during a solidarity stand in the West Bank this evening, called on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to intervene urgently to save the life of the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer and is imprisoned in the Israeli occupation prisons.
The Palestinian Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the vigil organized by the Prisoner’s Club in the city of Jenin raised banners calling for pressure on the occupation to release the prisoner Abu Hamid, who is at risk of death due to the deterioration of his health condition, and to retrieve the bodies of the martyrs detained with him in flagrant violation of international conventions and covenants.
The cities of the West Bank witness daily stands of support for the prisoner Abu Hamid, who has been detained since 2002, calling for his immediate release, especially after his health recently deteriorated and he fell into a coma as a result of his suffering from the consequences of the operation to remove a cancerous tumor in the lungs.
