Let's put aside for a moment all the ailments and troubles of the world and in honor of the opening of the week we will focus on a particularly joyful study, for the wine lovers among us of course.

According to a study conducted at a hospital in China, consumption of red wine protects the body from being infected with the corona virus.

And now the detail.

The study was conducted at Kenging Hospital in the Shenzhen play, and the researchers found that those who consumed five or more glasses of red wine a week were at a relatively reduced rate of 17% compared to a "normal" person, contracting and getting corona.

The study also found that white wine drinkers at a dose of between one and four glasses a week had an eight percent reduced risk of contracting the virus.

The continuation of the results will disappoint and even worry a few lovers of alcoholic ciders and beers, who in the study came out with a 28 percent higher risk of contracting corona than the average person.

The source of all the above results does not come from the percentage of alcohol in each drink but from the natural and quite healthy substance found in wine and not in others - polyphenols. On the other hand, we should not forget that in the last two years studies have shown Corona. However, the current study talks about drinking a glass of wine a day, rather than consuming an increased amount, which has been shown to be healthy and recommended in quite a few studies in the past.
