The tension on supplies is increasing.
To preserve VSEs and SMEs caught in a vice between suppliers who do not hesitate to increase their prices and customers who inflict late penalties on them, Bercy has decided to expand the missions of the crisis committee on payment deadlines launched at the start of the pandemic to transform it, this Monday, into an action committee on supplies and payment conditions.
This structure, which was created on March 23, 2020 to fight against the bad practices of major private and public clients (delayed settlements and non-cooperative attitudes, such as unilateral changes to contracts), has proven its effectiveness.
After his intervention, around forty major accounts with a strong impact on many VSEs and SMEs notably brought themselves into compliance and ceased their abusive practices.
