The meeting of the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Building and Environment Committee on November 16 last year went smoothly.

The district office came to this conclusion after free voter councilor Lilian Edenhofer had filed a legal supervisory complaint.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen – The meeting of the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Building and Environment Committee on November 16 last year went smoothly. The district office came to this conclusion after free voter councilor Lilian Edenhofer had filed a legal supervisory complaint. "In summary, we can state that neither a breach of duty by the market is recognizable, nor are the resolutions passed at the meeting invalid," explains Günter Hopfensperger, who works in the municipal supervision of the district authority, in his final report. There is therefore no reason to take legal action.

Background: Edenhofer took the view that she had been passed over as a representative in the meeting in question.

Their conclusion: the resolutions passed were invalid.

This also included a real estate deal that the committee had initiated in the non-public section.

Accordingly, a major investor, Accentro Bayern GmbH, is to receive the green light to build 170 to 200 additional apartments and, in return, undertake to provide some social benefits.

Actually, Martin Kurschatke represents the free voters in the committee.

If he doesn't have time, Edenhofer steps in as the first representative.

Representative number two is Daniel Schimmer.

Kurschake was unable to attend on November 16th.

For him, however, Edenhofer did not come to the town hall, but Schimmer.

A procedure with which the district office has no problem.

The authority says that the electoral groups would have to regulate the representation case themselves.

The market is not obliged to invite or inform the substitutes.

And Schimmer's vote - he apparently voted against it - was not decisive for the result of the Accentro vote.

After the faction broke up in the municipal council, the Free Voters no longer appear as one.

Shimmer and Kurschatke form a mini faction, Edenhofer is a lone wolf.

The relationship between the two camps is considered shattered.

Mayor Elisabeth Koch (CSU) attested to the free voters in the most recent municipal council meeting a "communication problem".

Edenhofer has had no contact with the parliamentary group for months, Schimmer explained.

And she didn't follow the Accentro discussions in the committee either.

Schimmer, who described the whole incident as "embarrassing and embarrassing," explained that he had intensive discussions with his fellow parliamentarians.

Kurschatke also tried to clarify: It turned out at very short notice that he could not come.

"I had to act quickly," he explained.

And Schimmer was well informed about Accentro.

So he informed him.

And what does Edenhofer say?

She doesn't regret the complaint.

"It was important for me to point that out," she explains.

She would have expected her Free Voter colleagues to contact her as a representative.
