Parents of cadets in a pilot course this evening (Sunday) expressed anger at the IDF authorities, following their conduct in light of the high rate of infection in the course. In BAD 1, Camp 80 and other bases were evacuated to their homes by the families over the weekend.
The IDF said in relation to the number of those infected in the pilot course that "the situation is under control, the course soldiers are in capsules of 15 people out of hundreds of soldiers.

The main allegations of the parents relate to the fact that they were forced to take the soldiers themselves for home isolation.
"The IDF is taking advantage of parents' concern to evacuate soldiers from the bases for home isolation," parents said.
According to the parents, the way the army operates endangers the whole family, especially adults with background illnesses.
It should be noted that the IDF has turned holiday villages into isolation sites for soldiers who cannot stay at their parents' homes, but due to the large number of verified soldiers, more than 17,000, these sites are insufficient.

An IDF spokesman said that "All the certified trainees are feeling well and will return in the coming days for further training. There is no harm in the normal course of the course."
