The Russian Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport announced today that a fire broke out in the engine room of an oil tanker in the Black Sea carrying 700 tons of fuel oil, without causing any casualties.
The Russian TASS news agency quoted the agency as saying that there are no traces of water pollution in the Black Sea, where the fire occurred, and there are no obstacles to navigation in the Kerch Strait, pointing out that the tanker's crew consists of seven Russian citizens who were currently transported by the locomotive, and there is no information about casualties.
She pointed out that the ship is called (Al Montaza) and it sails under the flag of Comoros and is located at a distance of 1.2 miles from the coast of the Russian port of Taman in the Black Sea.
