Iran's permanent representative to the United Nations, Majid Takht Ravanchi, announced that his country will regain its right to vote in the international organization, starting tomorrow, Monday.

Takht Ravanchi explained in a statement that Tehran's restoration of its right to vote in the United Nations came after it had paid its arrears in favor of the international organization, pointing out that the issue in Tehran's failure to pay membership fees is due to the unjust and unilateral American embargo measures that prevent the country from paying it in a timely manner, not because it You do not own these resources.

It is noteworthy that the United States recently agreed to enable Iran to use some of the funds frozen in the Industrial Bank of South Korea, which in turn announced that it had used more than $18 million of its frozen Iranian assets to pay Iran's membership fees at the United Nations to restore its right to vote.
