The Iranian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 28 deaths and 5,144 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a statement today that the total number of people infected with the Corona virus in Iran reached 6,250,490, and the deaths rose to 132,230 cases.
The statement indicated that the total number of people who have recovered so far has reached 60,80,343 people, on the other hand, the ministry announced the start of vaccination campaigns for children aged between 5 and 11 years, with the prior approval of their families.
"Schools in all Iranian cities carry out their daily activities in this framework," said Mohammad Hashemi, a public relations official in the Iranian Ministry of Health.
