The management of Lida High School (the high school near the university) in Jerusalem has initiated a controversial meeting of 11th grade students with representatives of the Bereaved Families Forum alongside representatives of Palestinian families

Following the parents 'complaints, MK Itamar Ben Gvir initiated a demonstration outside the school, with the participation of right-wing activist Ran Carmi Buzaglo, under the call that "terrorists' families should not be allowed to lecture in high school."
Upon the publication of the demonstration, a message was sent to the parents of the students from the school administration that the students would not be able to participate in it.
The high school principal announced that this was a demonstration by "violent" people, and therefore the students would not be allowed to leave to participate in the demonstration.
