The Lattakia team won the first place in the Republic Championship for Youth Boxing, which was held recently in Damascus, while the Hama team came in second place.
The Lattakia team came first after winning 11 medals (4 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze), where the golds came from Firas Tajour (48) kg, Ammar Rababa (51) kg, Muhammad Badour (54) kg, and Muhammad Ismail (57 kg).
The silver medals were won by Amer Bahrli (60) kg, Bashar Shariqi (67) kg, Haider Ali (75) kg, and Al-Laith Ahmed (over 80) kg.
The bronze medals were won by Zine El Abidine Daoud (63) kg, Jaafar Taffouh (71) kg, and Hadi Sheikh Ali (86) kg.

The Hama team managed to win the second place in the tournament with two gold medals, won by players Youssef Al-Sheikh Ali and Mudar Sudan, in exchange for four silvers by the players Nour Al-Sheikh, Hydra Diop, Majd Dohan and Mohamed Jegaili.
