The commercial area in Harland (district of Zolling) causes resentment in the neighboring community.

The area was considered for another project years ago.

Haag

– The Zolling municipal council has just paved the way for a new commercial area in Harland, and there are already critical voices from the neighboring municipality.

The BBV local chairman from Hague, Robert Schwaiger, now spoke from the ranks of the Hague municipal councils.

As part of the renewed involvement of the municipality of Haag in the preparation of the development and green space plan "Commercial area Harland", which was on the agenda for information at the meeting of the Hague municipal council on Tuesday, Schwaiger complained that the area was already used by Raiffeisenbank Hallertau years ago for a warehouse would have been provided.

However, no building rights could be obtained for the cooperative bank at the time.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

"For the farmers in the northern district, that would have been an ideal location for a warehouse," Schwaiger pointed out. He is surprised that a concrete mixing plant and a precast concrete plant can now be built on the approximately five hectare area next to the brickworks. After all, space was also created for a 27 meter high tower system. The height of the Raiba warehouse was critically assessed at the time, the chairman and municipal council recalled. In the meantime, the farmers had arranged to drive to the warehouse on Moosburger Bahnhofsstrasse. However, the Zolling position would have been more ideal for the farmers in the northern district, according to Schwaiger.

"As BBV local chairman for Haag, I would like to speak for the farmers here," emphasized Schwaiger.

Aside from the objection raised by Robert Schwaiger, no further statements were made about the plans for the “Harland industrial park” in the municipality of Zolling.
