On January 23, 2022, the one-year anniversary of the closure of the testing measures, Kwai Chung Village was still shrouded in the epidemic.
The Centre for Health Protection announced that 126 and 41 confirmed or preliminary positive cases were found in Yakwai House and Yingkui House, two buildings known to need to be enclosed for 5 days, respectively. , Xukui Building, Qiankui Building and Chunkui Building have found one or two cases, but the authorities will not make further closures for the time being after assessment.
At 7 p.m., the Fuqiang Building in Taiwokou Village also needs to be enclosed and tested for one day.
There are about 37,000 residents living in Kwai Chung Village, and it can be regarded as a community of its own with Tai Wo Hau Village.
After the epidemic hit, the traces of protective clothing moved around the village, and the residents who were able to come and go freely were determined to stockpile food.
The voices of "the epidemic is worrying" are repeated every day, but there have been reports of worrying about queuing up to spread the virus, doubts about hygiene, and inadequate arrangements by the authorities.
People haven't asked the answer, how much more can be done?
