An explosion followed by a fire took place, this Sunday noon, in a building in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, at 146 rue du faubourg Saint-Antoine.
Two “light” victims are to be deplored, reports Actu Paris.
According to the first elements given by the firefighters, it is an electric bicycle battery which would have exploded in an apartment, after which a fire would have started.
It then spread to the attic, without however threatening the other apartments.

On Twitter, the Paris firefighters called to avoid the sector and not to clutter the telephone lines.
Less than a hundred firefighters were mobilized.
The smoke could be visible for several kilometers around.
