Only a few hours left to register.
At the dawn of an online ballot, which will be held from January 27 to 30, the popular Primary reached a milestone on Sunday: 404,000 people registered to be able to vote in order to designate a candidate who must allow the gathering of left.
A figure higher than those of the primary ecologist in September - 122,000 registered - and of the congress of the Republicans at the beginning of December - 140,000.

Among the contenders are the main left-wing candidates already on the starting line - Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Anne Hidalgo or Yannick Jadot. And this, despite their refusal to participate and submit to the result. Only Christiane Taubira, launched in the presidential race, and lesser candidates have clearly claimed this process. If Anne Hidalgo was able to praise the merits of such a process to better get out of the probing rut in which she finds herself, Yannick Jadot's refusal buried any gathering of the left in the first round.
According to an Ipsos-Sopra Steria poll on Saturday for
Le Monde
, the Jean Jaurès Foundation and Cevipof, the left is scattered: Jean-Luc Mélenchon is at 8% of voting intentions, Yannick Jadot at 7%, Christiane Taubira at 5% and Anne Hidalgo at 3.5%.
The bet of the popular Primary will be to claim the investiture of a personality by hundreds of thousands of citizens to put pressure on the other contenders on the left.
And this, to reach the union by April 10.
