A student of City University who was initially diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia worked as a staff member at an on-campus event on the 11th of this month. It is reported that CityU President Guo Wei, Vice President Li Guoan, and Dean of Engineering Guo Dawei also attended the same day.

CityU said that all attendees on that day wore masks throughout the day.

CityU also stated that it will disinfect and clean the affected areas in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection. It has also notified those who attended the event on that day and reminded them to test.

In addition, the school of King George V School (King George V School, referred to as KGV) in Ho Man Tin, under the English School Association, said that it received a notification this afternoon that a student was initially diagnosed, and the patient is in stable condition and is waiting for arrangements.
