The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior indicated that all roads in the governorates are passable, except for some roads in the governorates of Hama and As-Suwayda, which are impassable or with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow and ice formation.
The Traffic Department clarified in its bulletin this afternoon that all roads in Hama governorate are passable, except for the roads leading to “Shataha-Jobat Bargal” and “Gorin-Salnefa” roads with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow, while the “Qardah-Ain al-Krum” road is impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
In As-Suwayda Governorate, all roads in the governorate are passable except for the roads leading to Salkhad and its surroundings, which are difficult due to the formation of snow, the “Sweida-Dahr al-Jib” road, the roads leading to the “Al-Mashnaf” district, the “Shahba-Namra-Tima-Um Zabib-Shaqa” road, and the roads leading to the “Sweida-Zahr al-Jib” district. Salt.” They are all impassable due to the formation of ice.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to exercise caution during the prevailing weather conditions and to ensure the technical readiness of the vehicle, including the effectiveness of the brakes, windshield wipers, defoggers, front and rear lights, the vehicle's battery and tire safety.
The Traffic Department allocated the numbers 5422703 and 5411365 to inquire about the condition of the roads.
