Wolfsburg coach Kohfeldt gets a guarantee for the Fürth game

Florian Kohfeldt should remain coach at VfL Wolfsburg even after another defeat in the Bundesliga and the eleventh competitive game without a win in a row.

When asked whether the coach would also be on the bench in two weeks' time for the important game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth, who was bottom of the table, Wolfsburg's sporting director Marcel Schäfer said on Sunday after the 0:

Leipzig - 2 at RB Leipzig: "Yes".

They also knew that many things would be questioned in view of the series.

But it is also the case “that we want to go through this phase together,” explained Schäfer.

Coach Kohfeldt emphasized a little later that there was "maximum trust" and an extremely good exchange in every situation between them - Kohfeldt, Schäfer and sports director Jörg Schmadtke.
