The cruise ship "Crystal Symphony" is stuck in the Bahamas with 700 passengers.

There is a risk of confiscation if you return to the USA.

The tourists on the "Crystal Symphony" probably imagined their cruise* differently: the two-week trip through the Caribbean was originally supposed to end in Miami - where it began.

Instead, around 700 passengers – allegedly 400 of them crew members – were stuck in the Bahamas over the weekend.

While the ship was plying the waters, a court ruled that the Crystal Symphony could be confiscated when it returned to Miami.

The reason: Crystal Cruises had

failed to pay $4.6 million in fuel bills

.

The “Crystal Symphony” alone is said to account for 1.2 million of these.
