Today, a person died in a house fire behind Al-Farouq Mosque on Baghdad Street, and another fire was extinguished in a house in Al-Muhajireen area in Damascus.
Brigadier General Daoud Amiri, commander of the Damascus Fire Brigade, indicated in a statement to SANA’s delegate that the first fire broke out in a hardware store that moved to the first and second floors.
Brigadier General Amiri indicated that a group from the Damascus Fire Brigade immediately went to the place and worked to extinguish and cool it and found the body of a man in front of the shop. It was transferred to Damascus Hospital (Al-Mujtahid) by the Red Crescent.
Brigadier General Amiri pointed out that the Damascus Fire Brigade put out another fire in a house in the Muhajireen area, pointing out that a group of the regiment went to the place and worked to put it out and cool it down, as the damage was limited to material.
