The AfD parliamentary group wants to set up a committee of inquiry into the capital's airport BER in the Brandenburg state parliament.
The horrific costs and the construction defects at the airport should be highlighted, MP Daniel Freiherr von Lützow told the German Press Agency on Monday.
Other topics are the control obligations of public shareholders and the lack of soundproofing.
Potsdam – Von Lützow wants to comment on the details on Tuesday after the parliamentary group meeting.
According to him, the application for the establishment of the committee of inquiry should already be submitted at the end of February.
Since the AfD parliamentary group, with 23 mandates, accounts for more than a fifth of the members of the state parliament, it can push through the committee of inquiry.
As a spokesman for the state parliament confirmed, she could also chair the BER investigative committee.
