Air gun shots at the Islamic Cultural Center in Halle

Shots were fired from an airgun at the Islamic cultural center in Halle (Saale) on Sunday.
No people were injured, and there was no damage to the building either, the police said late Sunday evening.
Halle – According to the press release, witnesses could have seen that the shots had been fired from a window in an apartment building across the street.
A 55-year-old resident of Halle was identified as the owner of the apartment.
A "long gun for shooting diabolos and a gas pressure pistol" was found and secured on the man, it said.
The police initially did not say on Monday whether the man was arrested.
According to the press release, according to initial findings, the man has not yet committed any politically motivated crimes.
