Two prominent Wolfratshausen CSU city councilors want to resign from the city council.
The decision is expected to be made by the panel in February.
Wolfratshausen – Both CSU faction leader Peter Plößl and his deputy Alfred Fraas have reportedly asked to be allowed to resign from the city council.
Both handed over their written resignation requests to Mayor Klaus Heilinglechner at the last meeting of the committee in 2021 - immediately after the city council had decided by a vote of 15:10 to provide a further 172,000 euros for the artificial surfing wave planned in Weidach.
Plößl and Fraas rejected this.
Wolfratshausen: City Council meeting in January was not public
Although the city council met on January 18, the two top representatives of the CSU still have to be patient.
When asked by our newspaper, Mayor Heilinglechner said a decision had not yet been made about their applications.
The reason: The first city council meeting in the new year was not public, the agenda included advising the city budget for 2022. The head of the city hall is putting the resignation requests of the two prominent Christian Socialists on the agenda of the next public city council meeting on February 15.
Plößl and Fraas have announced that they will only explain their respective reasons for resigning after the committee has voted.
