Of the 109 new cases today, Kwai Chung Village accounted for 69 cases. In addition to dozens of confirmed cases in Yat Kwai House and Ying Kwai House, which were closed for 5 days, there were also sporadic cases in 8 buildings in the same village. One case was confirmed and quarantined for testing.

The Hing Fung Building in Sham Shui Po was also closed due to the presence of patients.

The government requires people to be tested before 0:00 in the morning, and the target is to lift the lockdown at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow (25th).

Anyone who has been at the building for more than two hours between January 18 and January 24 will be tested on or before the 26th.

Fu Tak House in Tai Wo Hau Estate was also designated as a "restricted area" starting from 7:30 p.m., and those inside were required to stay on the premises and undergo compulsory testing.

Persons to be tested are required to wait at their premises until all identified persons in the "restricted area" have completed their tests and the relevant test results have been roughly confirmed, before leaving their premises.

The government aims to complete the operation by about 7.30am tomorrow.

The government will set up temporary sampling stations in "restricted areas" and require those tested to be tested by 1:00 a.m. tomorrow.

On January 24, Fu Tak House in Tai Wo Hau Village was enclosed.
