The head of the Czech Party for Freedom and Direct Democracy, Tomio Okamura, confirmed that the absence of NATO "NATO" in Ukraine eases tension in Europe.

Okamura pointed out that Ukraine's attempts to provoke an armed conflict in the region is a dangerous and irresponsible act, calling on his country not to get involved in this file.

For its part, the Moravian Czech Communist Party warned of the negative repercussions of the Czech Defense Ministry's announcement of its intention to send artillery shells to Ukraine, stressing that such a measure contributes to further deterioration of the situation and raises the possibility of war in Europe.

In a statement today, the party warned that the international agreement on arms trade prohibits the sale of arms to areas where a war could erupt, stressing its refusal to send arms to Ukraine and seeking instead to reduce tension in Europe and resolve the Ukrainian crisis through diplomatic and peaceful means based on the law International Convention, the Charter of the United Nations and the Minsk Convention.
