France advised its nationals on Monday January 24 to postpone their non-essential trips to Ukraine, in the midst of escalating tensions with neighboring Russia.

As far as possible, it is advisable to postpone non-essential or urgent travel to Ukraine
,” recommends the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its updated travel advice.
