French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour called for the lifting of European sanctions on Russia, stressing that Paris should be Moscow's friend.
"France should and can show signs of friendship with Russia by removing sanctions, and we should no longer be a tool that serves American maneuvers," Zemmour said in an interview with France 5.
Zemmour pointed out that the United States spends its time inciting European countries against Russia, considering that Washington's biggest obsession since antiquity is to separate Russia from France and Germany, and whenever there is a rapprochement between these countries, Washington intervenes to sow division.
