Geretsried: Driver throws on B11 in oncoming traffic

Geretsried – As reported by the Geretsried Police Inspectorate, there were several accidents last weekend.

On Friday, January 21, three vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision at the B11/Blumenstraße intersection.

A 47-year-old Seeshaupterin and a 54-year-old Geretsriederin stopped at the red traffic light, where a 22-year-old Geretsriederin could no longer brake.

She crashed head-on into the Seeshaupterin's car and her car then pushed onto the car of the 54-year-old Geretsriederin.

The police are assuming damage to property of 6,500 euros.

Nobody got hurt.

60-year-old is seriously injured

On Saturday morning, January 22nd, there was an accident on the B11 between Königsdorf and Geretsried.

"A man from Königsdorf skidded on the slippery winter road because he didn't adjust his speed," it says.

He collided with the oncoming car of a 60-year-old man from Königsdorf.

The 60-year-old was seriously injured in the accident.

Those involved were taken to nearby hospitals.

Both cars were totaled.

The B11 was completely blocked for a short time.

The Geretsried fire brigade blocked and secured the scene of the accident with 20 forces.
