Plus point for the route preferred by the municipality - however, Tennet does not have to adhere to expert opinions

Haimhausen – In his interview with the Dachauer Nachrichten at the end of the year, Haimhausen's Mayor Peter Felbermeier was able to announce the news that the spatial planning procedure (ROV) for the replacement of the power line has been completed. And that's sooner than expected. In the most recent municipal council meeting, the project came up again – as an official report. Felbermeier announced that the government of Upper Bavaria had already completed the ROV on the Monday after the December meeting, in which the own partial land use plan was decided with a decision on the southern variant (we reported). The ROV is an expert opinion to check which variant - north or south route - is best suited for this section. The result is clear: the southern variant preferred by the municipality is the most tolerable.

Tennet, according to Felbermeier, does not have to stick to the ROV.

"The project developer can continue to include both variants in the planning approval," said the mayor.

"The government of Upper Bavaria only says that it (editor's note: northern route) is now not spatially compatible."

If, for some reason, a "no-go on the southern variant" arises during the planning approval, then there would be the problem of correcting the report.

In the next step, Tennet already thought about the planning approval process and spoke to the property owners.

But what will happen to the partial land use plan, in which the municipality has defined its preferred route, is still in the stars.

It is currently still available for examination at the Dachau District Office.

"We'll see how this goes on," said Felbermeier.

Thomas Mittermair (CSU) sees the community's own step as extremely important.

"Even though we don't know exactly what influence our activities had on the outcome of the report - I can imagine that our contribution will be given due consideration by the government of Upper Bavaria."

For Mayor Peter Felbermeier, however, it is certain that the efforts of the citizens' initiative against the power line in particular contributed to the result of the ROV.
