Palmyra-Sana
The concerned authorities began issuing and distributing electronic cards to the people living in the city of Palmyra and its desert through a mobile team visiting the city.
The head of Palmyra city council, Hani Daas, said in a statement to SANA reporter that Homs governorate provided all the necessary facilities for the work team to secure the electronic card for the approximately 3,000 families who were displaced as a result of the attacks of the terrorist organization (ISIS) to return to their homes.
Daas pointed out that registering and issuing the card and then distributing it to the people in their city saves them the costs of their travel to Homs governorate to obtain the electronic card, indicating that the local community in Palmyra provides the work team with the required assistance during their stay in the city and their stay there, which lasts for several days.
