IBES candidate Tina Ruland had to accept a hard stroke of fate in the camp.

The 55-year-old learned of the death of her best friend Astrid.

South Africa – Only eleven jungle camp celebrities* are currently fighting for victory in “I'm a star – get me out of here!” on RTL. On the evening of the third broadcast (Sunday, January 23), the moderator team led by Sonja Zietlow and Daniel Hartwich came to the camp to announce which candidates have to take the next exam: Linda Nobat, Peter Althof, Janina Youssefian and Anouschka Renzi. Four celebrities had to prove themselves in the challenge. But when moderator Daniel Hartwich announced that jungle camp candidate Tina Ruland did not have to compete this time, he asked the 55-year-old if everything was okay – because the actress actually made a sad face. "I'm not doing very well," she admitted. But she didn't reveal the reason - until now.

A post has now been published on Tina Ruland's Instagram page and the background becomes clear: her best friend Astrid passed away after a long and serious illness.

"I don't want to anticipate anything, but I still want to inform you, because Tina will also find out about it.

It was her express wish that she also found out about it at the camp if Astrid's condition deteriorated.

Astrid died as of Saturday January 22nd.
