The West Hama Electricity Station, which feeds a number of lines, has gone out of service as a result of a severe breakdown, and maintenance workshops are currently working on repairing it to be able to operate and return to service within the next few hours.
Engineer Ahmed Al-Youssef, director of the General Electricity Company of Hama Governorate, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the station west of Hama, which includes 3 electrical transformers, one of them with a capacity of 66 on/20 kVA, stopped working due to a categorical collapse resulting from the severe pressure in the electricity supply, pointing out that the workshops The technician is making efforts to repair the station, which is located near the Maharda roundabout, at the western entrance to the city of Hama, and to work on returning it to service again.
It is noteworthy that the West Hama Electricity Station feeds about 6 important power lines, including Al-Baath 1, Tobacco, Al-Banna Factory, Al-Ba'at, and others.
