A deadly industrial accident occurred at a site in the West Kowloon Cultural District. At about 4 pm today (24th), a 67-year-old worker surnamed He Nan was at work at a site in the West Kowloon Cultural District on Austin Road West. It was reported that the steel cable of a crane was suspected to be broken, and the worker was knocked unconscious and his throat was slit. He was rescued by a colleague on the site, and then sent to the hospital by ambulance for rescue. Unfortunately, he was confirmed dead.
Police are investigating the incident.
