Around 8:30 p.m., violence broke out: several shop windows, already closed, were smashed or tagged rue du Calvaire, one of the most commercial in the city, accustomed to demonstrations of this type for almost ten years.
Two people were arrested, one was placed in police custody and was to be tried in immediate appearance on Monday for
"willful violence on persons holding public authority"
, indicates the Nantes prosecutor's office.
"Luckily, there was little damage this weekend, but I'm afraid it will start again for worse",
