Not because of the Corona: Has the real reason for canceling Adele's show been revealed? | Israel today

Various sources state that the reasons for canceling the successful singer's opening show were not necessarily related to the virus, but rather to her conflict with factors in the production.

Last week Adele announced the cancellation at the last minute of its opening opening show (a series of shows at a regular venue) in Las Vegas.

Many fans were left confused as they had already purchased plane tickets and paid for hotel rooms, only to get to the gambling town and find out they were not going to see a singer perform.

But now there are new reports that raise the question: Are conflicts and quarrels between Adele and her stage designer leading to the cancellation of her performance in Las Vegas ?.

Now the "Daily Mail" reveals that between the musician and Emerald Devlin, her set and stage designer, there were constant arguments until just a moment before the cancellation.

"Although the set and its assembly cost millions, Adele was not happy with the result and she made it clear unequivocally to Emerald," a source close to the production told the magazine.

"(Adele) was tense anyway and the argument just made her panic, because she desperately wanted everything to be perfect."

Another source told the email that although the singer experienced a lot of mental stress even before her big quarrel with Devlin, the confrontation between them left her unable to perform.

"It was not really clear what Adele wanted for the show, because of the incessant changes made to the production," the source said.

"It seems that while she herself always preferred a simple and basic show, she was under pressure to put on an extravagant show. It is known that Adele suffers greatly from anxiety when it comes to performing in front of an audience. So it is hard to imagine her continuing to perform if she is not satisfied."

This is not the first time it has been alleged that Adele's residence in Las Vegas was canceled due to her dissatisfaction with the set and stage design (contrary to her original claim, in which she explained that the cancellation was a result of half of her production staff being verified to Corona).

The Radar website reported last weekend that the reason for the cancellation was not only the corona as alleged, but also the indecisive approach of the British sensation and its unreasonable requests.

"Adele has postponed her residency because of the virus, that's true," a source told the website.

"But she also really hates the whole creative side of the show and keeps changing it. The production team works on the show in Las Vegas for 18 hours a day. She just keeps adding things and removing others."

Adele's first appearance out of what is planned to be a four-month residency in the city was scheduled to take place last Friday night.

About 24 hours before the show, the star informed her fans about the postponement.

"I'm so sorry, but the show is not ready yet," she said in a video in which she turned to her fans in tears.

She further explained that she and her team “tried to do everything” to complete it on time and so that it would be good enough for the viewers.

"It was impossible to finish work on the show," she said in the video.

"I can not give you what I have at the moment."
