Trainees earned an average of 987 euros in 2021

According to the Federal Institute for Vocational Training (BIBB), all trainees in 2021 received an average of 987 euros gross per month over all training years.

The evaluation for 2021 also showed that trainee salaries in Germany have risen more slowly on average than in previous years.
