The joint flight conducted today (Monday) by the Russian and Syrian air forces in the Golan Heights is intended to send a message to Israel, Jerusalem estimates.
A political source told "Israel Today" that the existence of the fly at the chosen location and timing, and the publicity that the two countries decided to give is a signal to Israel.
According to him, "flying on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights is aimed at only one other country that is also in the Golan, and not at anyone else."
He estimated that in the existence and publication of the flight, Syria and Damascus wanted to broadcast to Israel that they were not satisfied with the Israeli activity against Iran and its metastases in Syria.
In recent months, the volume of Israeli activity in Syria has increased, and Israel believes that this is the background to the Russian-Syrian signals.
As you may recall, last week Russian and Syrian infantry participated in a joint maneuver along the southern border of Syria.
It should be noted that in the six years since Russia's entry into Syria, Russian Air Force flights have been conducted several times in the Golan.
