Ramelow calls for legal basis for 2G in retail

Thuringia's Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow (left) has called on the federal government to create a legal basis at federal level for 2G regulations in retail.
It is about the question of “what is required by law to work together to fight a pandemic,” said Ramelow on Monday after talks between the federal and state governments on the corona pandemic.
Erfurt - In a protocol note on the resolution paper of the Prime Ministers' Conference, Thuringia calls for a "federal regulation for further pandemic defense".
The background to this is, among other things, court decisions in some federal states that overturned 2G regulations in retail.
In the minutes, Thuringia also lists 2G-plus regulations and implementation regulations for facility-related vaccination requirements, which the Thuringian state government believes should be regulated at federal level.

In the note, the Free State also requires "immediate notification of the country-specific delivery volume for the protein-based vaccine Novavax".
In Thuringia's opinion, employees who are affected by the facility-related vaccination obligation should be given priority.
