Russia renewed its demand for a written US response to its proposals on security guarantees.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement today reported by Russia Today that her country has answered all US clarification questions regarding the Russian proposals related to security guarantees and is awaiting an answer to them in the near future, stressing that this response should be put on paper and answered point by point.

Zakharova described what the West is circulating in the media about evacuating the American embassy's employees from Kiev and issuing warnings to its citizens, as the State Department's media agenda is stupid and strange, pointing out that the Russian embassy in Kiev is working normally and as usual.

She added that Western countries are starting to use more serious platforms via traditional official media to spread misinformation about their claim of an imminent Russian invasion of Ukraine as they can no longer publish this story only through social networks.

Yesterday, the Russian Embassy in London called on the British Foreign Office to stop escalating rhetorical provocations about Ukraine and contribute to ensuring European security.

And about the fake article published by the US Bloomberg website about an alleged request by Chinese President Xi Jinping to Russian President Vladimir Putin not to attack Ukraine during the Beijing Olympics, Zakharova said that this article is fake and fictional, noting that she did not expect “to descend to this level of misinformation in Bloomberg is not Just because it's not certain, but because it's impossible and stupid."

A spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry criticized the US website's refusal to request comment from representatives of the Russian or Chinese presidential press services.
