Three Palestinians were injured this evening (Monday) in the village of Hawara, south of Nablus, in the Samaria area, during riots by dozens of settlers.

According to a police report, a number of vehicles traveling in a convoy on Route 60 through the village of Hawara began throwing stones at businesses and parked vehicles, resulting in extensive damage.

The Palestinians said that the settlers came from the direction of Za'atara / Tapuach to the main road of Huwwara, accompanied by military vehicles, and played loud music.

It was further reported that among the wounded was a young man in his twenties, who was hit by a stone in the head and was taken to hospital.

"In broad daylight, under the guise of protecting soldiers, a convoy of settlers is carrying out a pogrom against the Palestinians," said Lior Amichai, executive director of Yesh Din.

Instead of protecting the victims, the rioters accompany the city of refuge.

Is there anyone else who can claim that this is not apartheid? "

Defense Minister Bnei Gantz referred to the criminal incidents in Judea and Samaria in recent days, and said that he considers them serious and intends to act harshly against them.

"Anyone who throws stones, lights vehicles and uses cold or hot weapons is a terrorist and that is how we will treat him," Ganz said.

"We are in the midst of a process aimed at strengthening the forces on the ground, building the force together with the police and the GSS, and concentrating operational and legal efforts."
