The Syrian Ambassador to Cuba, Dr. Idris Maya, discussed with the Cuban Deputy Minister of Health for International Cooperation, Dr. Regla Angulo, ways to enhance health cooperation relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, which was held at the Cuban Ministry of Public Health in the capital, Havana, the two sides stressed the importance of activating the health agreement signed between the Syrian and Cuban ministries of health and strengthening cooperation relations in the health field and the pharmaceutical industry for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples, reiterating their rejection of the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the two countries. Which doubled in conjunction with the Corona pandemic.
From the Cuban side, the meeting was attended by Dr. Nestor Marimon, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Cuban Ministry of Health, and Ali Abbas, the diplomatic attaché at the Syrian Embassy in Havana.
