The branch of the Syrian Trading Corporation in Tartous has rented 80 tons of citrus crops from the governorate's farmers during the past two days.

Mahmoud Saqr, director of the Foundation's branch, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that these quantities were sent to the governorates of Damascus, Damascus Countryside, Aleppo, Homs, Hama and As-Suwayda, pointing out that the merchants of Souq al-Hal and its centers in the governorate during the mentioned period imported about 350 tons.

Saqr explained that the total quantities that the branch of the Syrian Trading Corporation in Tartous has rented since the visit of the Prime Minister until now amounted to 530 tons, noting that the process of renting slightly decreased as a result of the prevailing weather conditions and rain with the frost wave that the governorate is currently witnessing, and confirmed that the receipt of the citrus crop from farmers continues until the end of the season.
