The district office warns of an illegal collection campaign that a "Hungarian family" apparently wants to carry out at the weekend. According to the press release, flyers have been distributed in mailboxes in the Reichersbeuern area over the past few days, calling for the collection of a "Hungarian family" to be supported. In German, which is sometimes difficult to understand, a wide variety of equipment is listed, from "Schi Shuhe" to "Machine small in size" to coffee machines and laptops. As has often been shown in the past, according to the district office, these collectors only take items that promise the greatest possible profit, the rest they leave behind or illegally dispose of in the landscape. The original owner or the general public must then pay for this disposal. This is not the only reason why this action is inadmissible. On the one hand, such collections would have to be registered with the District Office at least three months in advance, and on the other hand, certain items classified as hazardous waste would have to be handed over to approved facilities. Violations are administrative offenses or environmental offences. Information under 0 80 41/ 50 53 56 or at environment@lra-toelz.de.
