Both glamorous and a bit secret, the world of jewelry represents an absolutely fascinating world which can however sometimes seem somewhat inaccessible to the general public... The Petit Club and the School of Jewelry Arts open the doors to the marvelous world jewelry and you...


Created in 2012 with the support of the prestigious house of Van Cleef & Arpels, L'École des Arts Joailliers has two permanent sites.

The first is located in Paris and the second in Hong Kong.

Open to all, the mission of L'École des Arts Joailliers is to introduce people to know-how, the world of stones and the history of jewelery and thus disseminate jewelery culture to the general public through introductory courses, conferences and other exhibitions.

In Paris, classes take place in a sublime 18th century private mansion, a stone's throw from Place Vendôme.

The School of Jewelry Arts has set up its gemology and jewelry, enamel and lacquer workshops there, a drawing studio, classrooms and conference rooms as well as its library.

Different courses taught by passionate experts

The teaching team at L'École des Arts Joailliers is made up of no less than 60 professors.

Jewelers, jewelery historians, lapidaries, gemologists or experts in Japanese lacquer or enamel, each works in their area of ​​expertise, while ensuring that their knowledge is passed on through experimentation and dialogue.

Dive into the heart of the stones, unravel their mystery, learn to appreciate them and let your emotions speak.

Among the twenty courses offered, we find “Discovering stones”, perfect for learning about gemology. During this one, you will discover the origin of the precious stones, their great variety as well as the different techniques of extraction and collection, accompanied by two expert gemologists... "From the drawing to the model" will allow you to discover the three first stages of the creation of a jewel: the sketch then the gouache and the realization of a model. While "Unusual Art Nouveau jewelry: from School to Museum" will make you decode the Art Nouveau style, from jewelry creations by the famous René Lalique, Vever, Fouquet and many others... This course also includes a visit to the Jewelery Gallery of the Museum of Decorative Arts guided by your two art historian professors.

Good news for those who have always dreamed of unraveling the mystery of the fascinating world of jewelry, the Petit Club invites you to win your place for you and the person of your choice at one of these high-level masterclasses.

These three classes will all take place at L'École des Arts Joailliers, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
