The vaccination card has become a daily companion, usually as a digitized corona vaccination certificate on the cell phone.

An Isen couple has now developed an alternative - the corona card for the wallet.

Isen

– Its inventors are Georgiy and Tanja Mai.

The 36-year-old not only has an advertising agency and is a lecturer at the Media University in Munich.

He also acts as a supervisor on behalf of the district court.

So he knows the problem that older people and people with dementia don't always have their vaccination certificate to hand or don't even have a smartphone.

The two of them also came up with the idea in their free time. "You're skiing for a day, it's cold, so the cell phone battery loses its charge quickly. And if you then want to go to the hut in the evening, it's empty - and you have to stay outside because you can't prove your vaccination," says the 36-year-old. Or: "You don't always want to take your cell phone with you to the lake or to the outdoor pool in summer, but neither does the yellow vaccination booklet."

You can simply put the Corona card in your wallet.

It is "loaded" by Mai reading the QR code that comes with every corona vaccination and that is as individual as a fingerprint and transfers it to the card.

This can then be presented and scanned, such as the Corona-WarnApp.

According to its inventors, the card is valid throughout Europe, like the Green Pass, which is widespread in Italy, for example.

The Mais are aimed not only at private individuals, but also at companies.

"There is the option of printing the company logo on the card and giving it to all employees as a treat for vaccinations, for example."

The first ticket costs 8.95 euros.

However, the designer admits that no further vaccinations can be added later.

The second ticket is available for EUR 6.95.

To top up, he needs the QR codes issued during the vaccination.
