Investigators can present a suspect after a homicide in Munich.
So far, however, he has been silent.
Munich – On January 10, a 72-year-old was found lifeless in her apartment in Obermenzing.
The rescue service and the emergency doctor were only able to report the woman's death.
Based on the injuries found, there were concrete indications of a homicide, the homicide squad of the Munich police headquarters took over the investigation.
The cause of death was "the use of blunt and sharp force".

Now the investigators can present a suspect.
"Due to the extensive, meticulous and intensive investigations by Commissariat 11, there was a concrete suspicion of a 33-year-old Syrian who lives in the southern district of Munich," the Munich police announced in a press release on Monday (January 24).
An arrest warrant for murder was issued against the man by the Munich District Court.
The 33-year-old was then arrested by the homicide squad in Munich on Sunday afternoon (January 23).
Investigations into a homicide in Munich: the suspect has been silent so far
The 33-year-old was brought before the investigating judge on Monday, who decided that he should remain in custody.
"So far, the suspect has not commented on the matter," the police said.
