The warning from the Minister of Health.
As of February 15, “
9 million French people
”, who have not yet received their booster dose of anti-Covid vaccine, could see their vaccination pass – which replaced the health pass on Monday – be deactivated.
“
There are still 9 million French people who, on February 15, if they do not receive a vaccine injection, could lose the benefit of the pass.
It's a lot,
”said Olivier Véran this Tuesday morning on LCI.

Because, from next February 15, the rules relating to the vaccine pass change, recalled the Minister of Health.
The time to receive your booster dose and thus keep your vaccination pass will be reduced: it will go from seven months to four months after the last injection.
“
I think that everyone has not yet fully integrated this message
”, estimated Olivier Véran, without specifying whether the 9 million mentioned took into account the people recently infected and who benefit from a certificate of recovery for six months.

, the Directorate General of Health has not yet provided this clarification.
The tenant of the avenue de Ségur called on the French who have not yet received their third dose to make an appointment as soon as possible.
“
There are millions of slots available throughout the national territory.
Make this reminder, you will be at peace.
Just don't wait
until
the last minute,
” he said, welcoming the fact that “
nearly 54 million
” French people have received at least one injection.
No lifting of the pass on February 16
If many restrictions will be lifted on February 16 (reopening of nightclubs, possible consumption again while standing in bars and restaurants, and authorization to drink and eat in transport, in stadiums and cinemas), the vaccine pass should not be concerned, said Olivier Véran.
Asked about a possible lifting of this measure in mid-February, the minister replied in the negative, believing that it should not occur “
as soon as that
”.
"
The vaccine pass, we will keep it as long as there is a threat to our hospitals,
" he added.

Moreover, on the hypothesis of a fourth dose, the Minister of Health declared that nothing was settled.
“
If this injection makes it possible to protect the most fragile against the risk of a serious form, we will do it (…).
If, on the other hand, we realize that it is not necessary, we will not do it.
It's the scientists who have to tell us, it's not politics.
